Key Responsibilities
Execute accurate payroll input across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
Administer and reconcile leave records
Maintain and update employee data across HR and payroll systems
Coordinate onboarding, employment contracts, and inductions
Monitor fixed-term contracts and proactively track renewals
Support EE, Skills Development, and BBBEE compliance processes
Assist with Workman’s Compensation (IOD reporting and claims management)
Provide administrative support to recruitment activities
Ensure strict confidentiality and data integrity
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Grade 12 (Matric)
2–3 years’ proven payroll experience (including overtime, leave, and controls)
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Experience with payroll systems such as A1 / similar platforms
Exposure to a Bargaining Council environment (e.g. MEIBC)
Experience within construction, engineering, or industrial sectors
